The Virtual Double Bass Summer Intensive was created to give aspiring young bassists the opportunity to work with some of the best artists of our time and to prepare them to make a difference in the world.

​

VDBSI offers a core curriculum program with private lessons, technique classes, master classes, and electives like yoga, improvisation, historical performance and more, to tailor to the needs and interest of each student in a supportive and inclusive environment.  We are interested to share our knowledge with the next generation of bassists and to help them explore and expand their musical horizons to guide them in this ever-changing world.
